Agency Facilities 483 <br />1. General. Contractor shall Collect Solid Waste from Agency Facilities as 484 <br />frequently as scheduled by the Agency, but not less than once per week. Agency 485 <br />must subscribe to a minimum service level of three (3) times per week Collection 486 <br />in order to be eligible for Collection on Saturday and/or Sunday. 487 <br />2. Service Methods. Specifically, the Contractor shall offer the following Collection 488 <br />service methodologies to Agency Facilities: 489 <br />a. Individual Cart or Bin Service. Contractor shall allow each Agency 490 <br />Facility to use Carts, Bins, Compactors, or Drop Boxes for Solid Waste 491 <br />Collection. 492 <br />b. Centralized Cart or Bin Service. Contractor shall allow each Agency 493 <br />Facility to use Carts or Bins for Solid Waste Collection that are shared 494 <br />by the Occupants of two or more adjacent Agency Facilities. In such 495 <br />case, Contractor shall provide one or more Carts or Bins as requested 496 <br />by the Agency provided that no less than ninety-six (96) gallons of 497 <br />Container capacity is provided for every four (4) Agency Facilities. 498 <br />c. Drop Boxes and Compactors. Contractor shall allow Agency to use a 499 <br />Drop Box or Compactor for Solid Waste Collection to meet the 500 <br />Agency’s Disposal needs. In such case, Contractor shall provide 501 <br />Agency with a choice of Container capacities ranging from three (3) to 502 <br />forty (40) cubic yards (or similar sizes). Contractor shall allow Agency 503 <br />to purchase or lease Compactors through an outside vendor. Regular 504 <br />maintenance of Compactors shall be required by Agency (or outside 505 <br />vendor) as frequently as needed to keep the Compactors in good 506 <br />working order and functioning at high compaction levels. 507 <br />3. Solid Waste from Public Street, Parks, and Parking Lot Litter Receptacles. 508 <br />Contractor shall Collect Solid Waste from public litter receptacles located on 509 <br />streets and in parking lots, and from public litter receptacles in parks that are 510 <br />accessible for Curbside Collection. Contractor shall also Collect Solid Waste that 511 <br />is contained in bags or boxes and placed adjacent to public litter receptacles. 512 <br />These Collections will be made between one (1) and seven (7) Days per week, 513 <br />as determined by Agency. Contractor is responsible for notifying Agency if a 514 <br />public litter receptacle is inoperable within twenty-four (24) hours of observing or 515 <br />being notified of the defect. A list of public litter receptacles is included in 516 <br />Attachment B. Agency shall annually be allowed to increase the number of public 517 <br />litter receptacles provided Collection service by an additional five percent (5%) 518 <br />of the total number of receptacles in service as of January 1 of each Rate Year 519 <br />after Rate Year Eleven (2021) without being billed for such service. The 520 <br />maximum number of public litter receptacles that Contractor will service without 521 <br />billing Agency shall increase by five percent (5%) each Rate Year after Rate Year 522 <br />Eleven (2021), even if Agency does not actually increase the number of 523 <br />receptacles by five percent (5%) in that Rate Year. 524 <br />4. Scope of Service Requirements. Contractor shall provide the Agency with the 525 <br />Collection services described above at the service locations, service levels, and 526 <br />6.2.B. - Page 28
