<br />REV: 03-16-18 MI <br />ATTY/AGR/2018.054/RECOLOGY OF SAN MATEO <br />Page 102 of 119 <br />(a) “Thirty (30) Days prior written notice shall be given to the City of Redwood 4141 <br />City in the event of cancellation, reduction of coverage, or non-renewal of this 4142 <br />policy.” Such notice shall be sent to: 4143 <br />City of Redwood City 4144 <br />Public Works Services Department 4145 <br />1400 Broadway 4146 <br />Redwood City, California, 94063 4147 <br />Attention: Public Works Services Director 4148 <br /> (b) “The City of Redwood City, its officers, employees, and agents are additional 4149 <br />insureds on this policy.” 4150 <br />(c) “This policy shall be considered primary insurance as respects any other valid 4151 <br />and collectible insurance maintained by the City of Redwood City, including 4152 <br />any self-insured retention or program of self-insurance, and any other such 4153 <br />insurance shall be considered excess insurance only.” 4154 <br />(d) “Inclusion of the City of Redwood City as an insured shall not affect the City 4155 <br />of Redwood City’s rights as respects any claim, demand, suit or judgment 4156 <br />brought or recovered against the Contractor. This policy shall protect 4157 <br />Contractor and the {City of Redwood City in the same manner as though a 4158 <br />separate policy had been issued to each, but this shall not operate to increase 4159 <br />the company’s liability as set forth in the policy beyond the amount shown or 4160 <br />to which the company would have been liable if only one party had been 4161 <br />named as an insured.” 4162 <br />D. Deductibles and Self-Insured Retentions. The liability policies described in 4163 <br />Sections 13.02.A(2) and 13.02.A(3) may contain a deductible or self-insured retention 4164 <br />not to exceed $500,000 per occurrence. This amount may not be increased without 4165 <br />Agency’s prior written consent. 4166 <br />Contractor remains responsible for the payment of all losses and investigation, claim 4167 <br />administration and defense expenses, including those of the Agency. 4168 <br />E. Delivery of Proof of Coverage. No later than ninety (90) Days before the 4169 <br />commencement of operations, Contractor shall furnish Agency one or more 4170 <br />certificates of insurance on a standard ACORD form substantiating that each of the 4171 <br />coverages required hereunder is in force, in form and substance satisfactory to 4172 <br />Agency. Such certificates shall show the type and amount of coverage, effective 4173 <br />dates and dates of expiration of policies and shall be accompanied by all required 4174 <br />endorsements. If Agency requests, copies of each policy, together with all 4175 <br />endorsements, shall also be promptly delivered to Agency. Contractor shall furnish 4176 <br />renewal certificates to Agency to demonstrate maintenance of the required coverages 4177 <br />throughout the Term. 4178 <br />F. Other Insurance Requirements 4179 <br />1. In the event performance of any services is delegated to a Subcontractor, 4180 <br />Contractor shall require such subcontractor to provide statutory workers’ 4181 <br />compensation insurance and employer’s liability insurance for all of the 4182 <br />Subcontractor’s employees engaged in the work.
