Do not adopt the ordinance. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The previously adopted TOT ordinance is expected to increase collection of TOT. At the <br />January 8, 2018 meeting, City Council also adopted a resolution dedicating this TOT to <br />the production of affordable housing projects, programs and administration <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />The proposed amendments are not considered a project under CEQA Guidelines <br />Section 15378 because the activity will not result in a direct or reasonably foreseeable <br />indirect physical change in the environment. Alternatively, the amendments are exempt <br />from CEQA as it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility for causing a <br />significant effect on the environment (Section 15061(b)(3)).
