The amendment would require the County to continue to <br />provide the defense of any claims or litigation against the task <br />force or its permanently assigned personnel within the County's <br />$250,000 self-insured retention. This eliminates the potential <br />that the County would be required to defend for actions of <br />non-task force personnel who are employees of one of the member <br />agencies but not assigned to the task force.
