<br />5/,.c-~ <br /> <br />A IT A CHMENT 1 <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />San Mateo County Board Of Education <br />Regional Occupational Program <br />(ROP) <br />INTERNSHIP AND JOB TRAINING PROGRAM <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made aRd entered into this <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />, 2005, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, (City), and SAN MATEO <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION - REGIONAL OCCUPATIONAL PROGRAM <br /> <br />(ROP), a California public entity (Contractor); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has an approved course(s) in business office, <br /> <br />medical administrative assisting, and technical careers, and desires to have its <br /> <br />students receive dinical and/or field training experience in said course as <br /> <br />provided in the Educational Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, CITY OF REDWOOD CITY'S Consolidated Plan 2005-2010 <br /> <br />establishes a priority for job training and economic development activities which <br /> <br />lead to enhanced employment opportunities for low income residents, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant funds may be used to <br /> <br />accomplish these goals, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, as a service to the community <br /> <br />and in consideration of the mutual benefits to be derived there from, is willing to <br /> <br />CDBG/DJT.cje <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />11.15.05 <br />
