<br />Page 8 of 8 <br />ATTY/ORD.458/RC MINIMUM WAGE <br />REV: 04-02-18 JS <br /> <br />SEC. 46.100. – Relationship to other requirements. <br />This Chapter provides for payment of a local minimum wage and shall not be <br />construed to preempt or otherwise limit or affect the applicability of any other law, <br />regulation, requirement, policy, or standard that provides for payment of higher <br />or supplemental wages or benefits, or that extends other protections. This <br />Chapter shall not be construed to limit a discharged Employee’s right to bring a <br />common law cause of action for wrongful termination. <br />SEC. 46.110. – Fees. <br />Nothing herein shall preclude the City Council from imposing a cost recovery fee <br />on all Employers to pay the cost of administering this Chapter. <br /> <br />SEC. 46.120. – Federal or State Funding. This Chapter shall not be applied to <br />the extent it will cause the loss of any federal or state funding of City activities.” <br /> <br />Section 7.
