Page 22 of 24 <br />ATTY/ORD/ORD.462/RC MUNICIPAL CODE CANNABIS BUSINESS REGULATIONS ALTERNATIVE <br />REV: 4-3-18 MI <br />cannabis products shall require persons receiving medicinal cannabis or <br />medicinal cannabis products to provide valid official identification, such as a <br />Department of Motor Vehicles driver’s license or State Identification Card, each <br />time he or she seeks to purchase medicinal cannabis or medicinal cannabis <br />products. <br />D. Hours of Operation. Delivery centers with accessory retail may sell cannabis and <br />cannabis products on their premises during the hours between nine o’clock in the <br />morning (9:00 A.M.) through nine o’clock in the evening (9:00 P.M.). The <br />Planning Commission may further restrict such hours of operation as a condition <br />of a use permit. A delivery center with accessory retail shall post its approved <br />days and hours of operation on a sign located on the street frontage of the <br />cannabis business in a manner consistent with the City’s sign regulations. <br />E. Delivery centers with accessory retail shall not have a physician on-site to <br />evaluate patients and/or provide recommendations for the use of medicinal <br />cannabis or medicinal cannabis products. <br />F. State Seller’s Permit. Delivery centers with accessory retail shall, at all times <br />during operation, maintain a valid seller's permit required pursuant to Part 1 <br />(commencing with Section 6001) of Division 2 of the California Revenue and <br />Taxation Code. <br />Sec. 32.171 Fees and Charges <br />A. The City Manager or his or her designee is hereby authorized to charge and <br />collect from each cannabis business all fees associated with the permitting of <br />that cannabis business. Prior to operating in the City of Redwood City, each <br />cannabis business shall timely and fully pay all fees associated with the <br />permitting of that cannabis business. <br />B. All fees associated with the permitting of a cannabis business shall be as set <br />forth in the schedule of fees and charges established by resolution of the City <br />Council. <br />Sec. 32.172 Nursery Regulations <br />A. No cultivation at the nursery’s premises shall be visible with the naked eye <br />from any public or other private property, nor shall cannabis or cannabis <br />product be visible from the exterior of the nursery’s premises. <br />B. All areas devoted to cultivation shall be secured from public access by means <br />of a locked gate and any other security measures necessary to prevent <br />unauthorized entry. <br />C. Outdoor cannabis cultivation is prohibited within the City of Redwood City. <br />7.B. - Page 73
