<br /> <br /> <br />TECH INFRASTRUCTURE/APPLICATION SUPPORT (85091) <br />TECHNOLOGY <br /> <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />Hardware and software required to implement and maintain <br />infrastructure and endpoints capable of providing a secure, reliable, <br />available, capable, accessible, and recoverable platform with which to <br />run the City's many current and future business applications on. <br /> <br /> <br />PROJECT BENEFITS <br /> Allows 24/7 availability of applications for staff, residents, and the community. <br /> Allows inter application data sharing and reporting. <br /> Increases security to minimize risks of data breech and misuse. <br /> Makes information recoverable in the event of a catastrophic event. <br />PROJECT STATUS <br />In fiscal year 2017‐18, IT completed rollout of the PC refresh program, consolidated several anti‐virus products into one, <br />replaced two firewalls for the City network, and replaced outdated networking equipment.
