<br />PUBLIC WORKS SERVICES DEPARTMENT 7 <br />Flygt Sewage and Storm Pump Preventative Maintenance Project <br /> <br />Chapter 7 – Client References <br />In a format similar to Attachment D, supply a minimum of two to three references <br />which are past and current clients. Additional references may be included which <br />reflect a similar scope of work to this project. Current contact information must be <br />included. <br /> <br />Contract Type, Term and Method of Payment <br />It is anticipated that the contract resulting from this RFP, if awarded, will be a not-to-exceed <br />budget contract, based upon the hourly costs of labor in conjunction with the cost of any <br />necessary parts and supplies. The term shall be for a period of five years from the effective date <br />of the contract and/or final execution by the City. <br /> <br />A Sample General Services Agreement is provided as Attachment C. The method of payment to <br />the successful Proposer shall be on an hourly with a maximum “not to exceed” fee as set by the <br />Proposer in the Proposal or as negotiated between the Proposer and the City as being the <br />maximum cost to perform all work. This figure shall include direct costs and overhead, such as, <br />but limited to, transportation, communications, subsistence and materials and any <br />subcontracted items of work. The City requires the successful Proposer to submit detailed <br />Monthly Invoices as described in Attachment B – Scope of Services. Monthly invoices should be <br />sent to the City after the completion of the task. Invoices are customarily paid on a net 30 day <br />basis. <br /> <br />Insurance Requirements <br />Prior to the City’s execution of the Agreement, the selected Proposer will furnish certificates of <br />insurance and endorsements to the City. Specific details can be found in Attachment C, Section <br />7 (Sample General Services Agreement). <br /> <br />Business License <br />The successful Proposer that is awarded the Agreement will be required to be licensed in <br />accordance with the City of Redwood City Business License Ordinance, Municipal Code Chapter <br />3.40 through 3.96, entitled "Business Tax.” Business license information (application, ordinance, <br />fees) can be found by navigating to the City of Redwood City homepage (www.redwoodcity.org) <br />and selecting “Business,” “Starting a Business,” and/or “Business Licensing.” <br /> <br />Review and Selection Process <br />City staff will evaluate the Proposals based on the following criteria: <br /> <br />• Quality and completeness of Proposal; <br />• Quality, performance, and effectiveness of services to be provided by the Proposer; <br />6.1.A. - Page 24
