The San Arthur H. Bredenbeck
Mateo Cou1]ty History Museum will be central to the series of events, and it, of
course, is in the heart of your redevelopment area.

We propose that the Redevelopment Agency join the Association's activities by
helping with some of the effort. Your support would be consistent with the
partnership we have forged with you to .create the courthouse plaza and museum
expansion. We request $7500 which will be employed to match a grant by Wells
Fargo. The $15,000 will be used to:

.

create a logo and brand for the sesquicentennial

. print brochures
. design a flyer and poster
. design an ad

These materials will highlight downtown Redwood City, and the activities we
intend having there. We will encourage your feedback as we are developing the
pIeces.

A major goal of the Association is to promote the expansion of its museum during
the sesquicentennial year. This is certainly consistent with also showing the
fantastic emergence of the Redwood City downtown area highlighted by the
movie complex and the plaza project. We intend to work with you to. add value to
your investment in us by helping promote area restaurants and retail attractions
during the activities held in our building. We are particularly keen to develop
some cooperative ventures with the movie complex.

Roberta Carcione

Marilynn Clarke

John Clinton

Frank Coltart

Robert Desky

1 Jack Foster.
