<br />15 <br /> <br />(7) Parking lots shall be improved with landscaping, and <br />permanently maintained by the property owner, in <br />accordance with the following standards: <br /> <br />(a) Landscaping shall be installed as determined by the <br />following schedule: <br /> <br />1-5 <br />6- 74 <br />75+ <br /> <br />Minimum % Parking <br />Lot <br />in Landscaping <br />5% <br />1 0% <br />15% <br /> <br />Number of <br />EaLking Spaces <br /> <br />(b) Landscaped areas shall be distributed throughout <br />the parking lot. <br /> <br />(c) Landscaping and shade trees shall be contained in <br />planters and tree wells bordered by a six inch high <br />concrete curb or equivalent approved by the City, so <br />as to be protected from automobile overhang. <br /> <br />(d) Shade trees shall be required at the rate of one tree <br />per each required five parking spaces. Trees shall <br />be a minimum of 15 gallon can size and be of a <br />variety that will provide shade upon reaching <br />matu rity. <br /> <br />(e) Landscaped areas and planters shall be developed <br />with a permanent irrigation system approved by the <br />City; and shall be maintained permanently, and kept <br />fee of all weeds, debris, and litter. <br /> <br />c. No person shall park or store, or cause or permit the parking <br />or storing of any vehicle upon any off-street parking and <br />loading facility for the purpose of displaying such vehicle <br />for sale, lease, or rental unless such use of such facility is <br />otherwise permitted pursuant to the provisions of this <br />Ordinance, any permit issued pursuant thereto, or pursuant <br />to the provisions of any other Ordinance. <br />
