<br />14 <br /> <br />any motor vehicle parked or stored on such facility <br />from extending into such sidewalk, street, alley, or <br />right-of-way. The design and installation of such <br />barrier shall be subject to the approval of the City's <br />Engineering Division. <br /> <br />(3) Every off-street parking and loading facility located in <br />any non-residential district and adjoining any parcel of <br />land located in any R District shall be separated from <br />such parcel by a solid wall, view-obstructing fence, <br />compact evergreen hedge, or similar such device, <br />constructed or installed to the maximum height allowed <br />for fences in such adjoining R District wherever such <br />maximum allowable height is six feet or less, or to a <br />minimum height of six feet wherever such maximum <br />allowable height for fences exceeds six feet. However, <br />no such wall, fence, hedge, or device shall exceed the <br />maximum allowable height for fences and walls <br />specified in Section 31.8; provided, further, that such <br />wall, fence, hedge, or device shall comply with the <br />provisions of Section 29.75 of the Redwood City Code, <br />relating to hazards or impediments to the progress or <br />vision of persons traveling on public streets. <br /> <br />(4) Every off-street parking and loading facility, excluding <br />access drives providing access to garage or carport <br />spaces, shall conform to the requirement of, and be <br />marked in accordance with, the provisions of Section <br />30.6a. hereof. <br /> <br />(5) Every access drive to an off-street parking and loading <br />facility shall comply with the provisions of Section <br />30.8 hereof, Section 30.17a. above, and Article II <br />(commencing with Section 29.15) of Chapter 29 of the <br />Redwood City Code. <br /> <br />(6) Illumination of every off-street parking and loading <br />facility shall be so constructed, installed, maintained, <br />and operated so as to preclude direct illumination of <br />any adjoining residential property, or provide glare over <br />the public right-af-way. <br />
