'1 J. <br /> <br />, ' <br /> <br />ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 30.13 OF ORDINANCE <br />NO. 1130, THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONS 30.5 AND 30.6 THEREOF, <br />RELATING TO OFF-STREET PARKING AND LOADING <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Section 30.13 of Ordinance No. 1130, the Redwood <br /> <br />City Zoning Ordinance, adopted May II, 1964, is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />Sections 30.5 and 30.6 of the above mentioned <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 1130 are hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 30.5 <br /> <br />Size of Spaces. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Each required <br /> <br />off-street parking space shall have a width of not less <br /> <br />than nine feet and a length of not less than 19 feet. <br /> <br />"Notwithstanding the foregoing, in any parking area <br /> <br />with ten or more required parking spaces, one small parking <br /> <br />space may be provided in lieu of one regular parking space <br /> <br />for each five required parking spaces. <br /> <br />A small space shall <br /> <br />have a width of seven feet and a length of 15 feet, and <br /> <br />all such spaces shall be posted as reserved for small cars. <br /> <br />" (b) <br /> <br />No required off-street parking space shall be <br /> <br />situated within one foot of any wall or vertical obstruction <br /> <br />above curb height. <br /> <br />Structural columns between adjacent <br /> <br />parking spaces in parking facilities of three or more <br /> <br />adjacent spaces are excluded from this requirement when <br /> <br />such columns are located at least three feet, but not more <br /> <br />than five feet, from either or both ends of the respective <br /> <br />parking spaces. <br /> <br />"(c) <br /> <br />Each required off-street loading space shall be <br /> <br />not less than 11 feet in width and 35 feet in length, with <br /> <br />15 feet of vertical clearance. <br /> <br />"Section 30.6 <br /> <br />Parking Area Standards, Spaces and <br />
