This plan shall describe the <br />analytical methods for characterizing wastes and the <br />handling methods required to minimize the potential for <br />exposure, and shall establish procedures for the safe <br />storage of contaminated materials and stockpiling of <br />soils. The required disposal method for contaminated <br />materials, the approved disposal site, and specific routes <br />used for transport of wastes to and from the project site <br />shall be indicated. <br />• Hazardous materials and wastes generated during <br />demolition, grading, and trenching activities, shall be <br />removed, managed, and disposed of in accordance with <br />applicable regulations. <br /> <br />The requirements of the Response Plan listed above shall be <br />performed during all construction activities performed for <br />the proposed project, including after the completion of soil <br />remediation activities proposed in the Response Plan. <br /> <br />HAZ-2: Construction of the <br />proposed project and the project <br />variant could result in <br />accidental releases of hazardous <br />building materials that could <br />result in impacts to construction <br />workers, the public, and/or the <br />environment. <br />HAZ-2: Prior to demolition activities, a Hazardous Building <br />Materials Survey (HBMS) shall be performed by an <br />appropriately certified environmental professional which <br />shall identify whether ACMs, PCBs, LBP, or other <br />hazardous materials are present in the existing structures on <br />the project site. Specification for the abatement and disposal <br />of identified hazardous materials in accordance with <br />applicable regulations shall be prepared by an appropriately <br />certified environmental professional.
