unforeseen circumstances when only one technician is available, Contractor will notify <br />City personnel ahead of time. Contractor will complete annual inspections and preventative <br />maintenance in three consecutive day blocks until complete. <br />• Contractor will also assign an account representative to be the primary point -of -contact for <br />communications regarding the Agreement. <br />• Specific days will be will be arranged for inspections each year. If Contractor is unable to <br />perform inspections on the pre -arranged days due to emergencies, the City's Wastewater <br />and Storm Utilities Field Supervisor shall be notified immediately, so that the work can be <br />rescheduled. <br />• If Contractor is called away during the scheduled maintenance time and cannot complete <br />the scheduled preventative maintenance, Contractor will return the next working day to <br />complete the work. <br />• Contractor shall be prepared to respond to calls for unscheduled work ("Extra Work") from <br />the City in a timely fashion relative to the scale/urgency of the Extra Work. <br />• Contractor will schedule and perform all inspections during regular service hours, such that <br />the City can be notified of any emergency, or immediate need for repairs to any of the <br />pumps. <br />City's Public Works Services Department is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 <br />a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding holidays. <br />• Contractor is not required to hold a "Construction Contractor's License" for the term of <br />this Agreement. <br />Annual Preventative Maintenance: <br />Contractor will perform preventative maintenance annually to include, but not be limited to: <br />• A complete 21 -point mechanical and electrical inspection of each of the sixty-two <br />pump/mixers, and fifteen storm pumps <br />SERVICE — 21 POINT CHECK LIST <br />During the 21 -point mechanical and electrical inspection, Contractor will: <br />❑ Check electrical condition of insulation on power cable and on all phases of motor. (In Meg Ohms) <br />❑ Check for any loose or faulty electrical connections within the pump control panel <br />❑ Measure resistance between stator windings (In Ohms) <br />❑ Check voltage supply between all phases of the electrical control panel (VAC) <br />❑ Check voltage balance between all phases on the load side* of the pump control with pump on (VAC) <br />❑ Check amperage draws on all phases of the pump motor (In Amps) <br />❑ Check condition and operation of motor thermal protectors control system (if so equipped) <br />❑ Remove Flygt pump(s) from lift station for physical inspection <br />❑ Check condition of upper shaft seals (inspect condition of motor housing) <br />❑ Check condition and operation of leakage detector (if so equipped) <br />❑ Check lower shaft seals (inspect condition of oil) <br />❑ Change oil if needed (cost of oil included) <br />REV: 04-05-18 MI <br />ATTY/AGR/2018.058/SHAPE, INC. <br />Page 9 of 14 <br />
