<br />DES:d~ A7/05/90 <br /> <br />(0062/26) <br /> <br />persons interested desiring to be heard were given an opportunity <br /> <br />to be heard and all matters and things pertaining thereto were <br /> <br /> <br />fully heard and considered by this Council; <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds, determines and orders as <br /> <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br /> <br />(a) The owners of more than 1/2 of the area of the property <br /> <br />in the Seaport Boulevard Landscape Maintenance District in the <br /> <br />Ci ty of Redwood City subj ect to special benefit assessments to <br /> <br /> <br />pay the costs and expenses of maintaining and operating the local <br /> <br />public improvements described in the above-mentioned Resolution <br /> <br />No. 10560 did not, at or prior to the time fixed for the <br /> <br /> <br />above-mentioned hearing, file written protests against the levy <br /> <br />of said assessments pursuant to Ordinance No. 1895. <br /> <br />(b) All written protests and objections, if any, and other <br /> <br />written communications were publicly read at said hearing and all <br /> <br /> <br />persons desiring to be heard were fully heard; and all protests, <br /> <br /> <br />if any, are hereby overruled. <br /> <br />(c) The above-mentioned Report and assessment roll, and <br /> <br />each of the assessments therein shall be, and they are hereby, <br /> <br /> <br />approved, confirmed and adopted. <br /> <br />2. The special benefit assessments specified in the <br /> <br /> <br />above-mentioned Report shall be levied and collected annually <br /> <br /> <br />upon the last equalized, secured and utility tax rolls upon which <br /> <br />ad valorem property taxes are collected.
