<br />CES:mgl A,/07/90 (070/27) <br />.'nl""i'd^L <br />U i\ .lli 1'1n <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />11313 <br />N o. <br /> <br />JUN 1 1 1990 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR LOCAL ASSISTANCE <br />GRANT UNDER THE ROBERTI - Z'BERG - HARRIS URBAN OPEN SPACE <br />AND RECREATION PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the people of the State of California have enacted <br /> <br />the Roberti - Z' Berg - Harris Urban Open Space and Recreation <br /> <br />Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State Department of Parks and Recreation has <br /> <br />been delegated the responsibility for the administration of the <br /> <br />Program within the State, setting up necessary procedures <br /> <br />governing application by local agencies under the Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said procedures established by the State Department <br /> <br />of Parks and Recreation require the applicant to certify by <br /> <br />resolution the approval of an application before submission of <br />said application to the State; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said application contains assurances that the <br /> <br />applicant must comply with; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the applicant agency must enter into an agreement <br /> <br />with the State of California for acquisition, development, <br /> <br />rehabilitation or restoration of the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />This Council hereby: <br /> <br />1. Approves the filing of an application for a local <br />assistance grant under the Roberti - Z'Berg - Harris Urban Open <br /> <br />Space and Recreation Program; <br /> <br />11313 <br />
