from our city, lest we end up back in our Deadwood City days.
+3 4. We need to rebuild the 101/Woodside interchange to handle more traffic. Caltrain shuttles need to
be part of this. Maple Street needs to be widened.
+3 4 The 101/VVoodside Road interchange needs to be rebuilt at the same time. The flyover extensions of
Veterans Blvd. directly to/from 101 are essential in order to keep traffic off Woodside Road.
+2 I strongly support this with a S. I am very concerned about the elementary schools in Redwood City.
I would really support anything that increases funding for our elementary district.
+z 5 It would be interesting to explore a taxation structure that allowed for municipalities to tax
corporations per head of non-resident of employees. This way new development would be tied to
incentives to hire local
+z 4. RWC needs revenue. We need our firefighters and policemen and good education. The revenue
from companies at harbor view will be helpful. The problem is implementation of the project. It is not
just erecting buildings and collecting tax. We need a plan to create better flow of traffic, better
infrastructure for the commuters and the residents. Woodside road is hard enough to commute on in
the rush hours. Growth in a more compact area is better than spread growth. The peninsula needs work and
live spaces!
+1 5101 and Woodside will always be congested. Bringing jobs closer to where people live benfits the
community.
+1 41 think it's a good use of the space, jay paul plans to improve the community & donate additional
funds to our rwc schools. It seems to be a well thought out project from what I've seen so far
g 4 - seems like a beautiful project on a property that has been an eyesore for years. The developer
seems willing to help mitigate traffic issues and other externalities though I hate the word "affordable"
housing. What developer builds "unaffordable" anything ?
R 5 1 just read through the information on the Harbor View web site. The project is offering to provide
voluntary contributions towards housing and infrastructure development, which sounds like a great
deal absolutely worth taking. I encourage opponents to read the full details on their official web site; I
