accordance with the plans and specifications therefor and in a manner <br />satisfactory to the city's Director of Public Works. Any and all wurk connected with the <br />projects may be performed by the party's own employees. C' <br />(e) Pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 8, the City will <br />prepare an annual cost estimate for the construction of each Facility <br />scheduled for construction in the following year. Said cost <br />estimates may be further revised quarterly if necessary, by mutual <br />agreement of the parties, and shall thereupon be revisions of <br />"Exhibit A" and, as such, shall become part of this agreement. <br />(f) All contracts for extra wort and change orders totalling) <br />more than 30% over the projeQt contract award amount must be approved <br />by mutual consent of the parties. <br />8. Commitment to Construct; Quarterlv Review. (a) It is <br />understood and agreed by the parties hereto that development will } <br />depend upon timely construction of the Facilities. The parties also <br />understand and agree that the Fund may not always contain sufficient <br />monies to cover the construction costs of desired projects, <br />particularly during the early years of this agreement. Therefore, <br />the parties agree that Redwood Shores may, subject to reimbursement <br />as hereinafter described, elect to either advance funds to the <br />District to construct, or cause to be constructed with it own funds, <br />certain Facilities upon agreement of the parties.
