R E S 0 LUT ION N0. _""'`'3 <br />RESOLUTION OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY <br />ORCHARD AVENUE-BURNHAM OAKS <br />IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, on May 4, 1964, the Council of the City of Redwood City <br />adopted a resolution of preliminary determination to make public im- <br />provements in the City of Redwood City, being Resolution No. 4283 of <br />said Council, to construct certain public improvements more particu- <br />larly described therein, and did fix therein this date as the time <br />and place when and where any and all persons interested may appear <br />and show cause, if any they have, why the City Council should not <br />find and determine that the public convenience and necessity require <br />the improvements described and referred to in said resolution with- <br />out compliance with the Special Assessment, Investigation, Limitation <br />and Majority Protest Act of 1931; and <br />WHEREAS, notice of the adoption of said resolution and of said <br />time and place of hearing was given by the City Clerk by publication <br />and posting for the time and in the manner provided in said resolu- <br />tion and Ordinance No. 515 of the City of Redwood City, as appears <br />from the affidavits on file with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, no persons objecting to the undertaking of said pro- <br />ceedings without first complying with the provisions of said Special <br />Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931 <br />have filed written objections thereto with the City Clerk at or before <br />the time fixed for this hearing by persons interested, owning or <br />having an interest in real property within the proposed assessment <br />district, bearing their signatures, a description of their property, <br />and a statement of the nature of their interest therein; and <br />WHEREAS, all persons have been given an opportunity to be and <br />were fully heard, and said Council has duly considered any and all <br />-1- <br />
