(a) Applicants shall pay a sewer connection fee com- <br />puted in accordance with Article VI, Chapter 27, <br />of the Municipal Code, and shall pay the further <br />sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) which sum <br />shall be refundable to the applicants if the <br />premises described herein are annexed to the City <br />of Redwood City within two years from the date <br />hereof, and provided further that the applicants <br />mentioned herein are the owners of the property <br />at the time of the effective date of such annexa- <br />tion and make demand upon the City within 90 days <br />after such annexation. <br />(b) The permit granted herein shall be further subject <br />to all of the provisions of Chapter 27 of the <br />Municipal Code relating to sewers, sewage disposal <br />and drainage, and all other applicable resolutions <br />and ordinances of the City of Redwood City. <br />(c) The owners of the property for which the sewer <br />connection is requested shall execute a hold <br />harmless agreement and waiver of liability in <br />favor of the City of Redwood City with respect to <br />the source and nature of ground waters in the <br />hereinafter described property. <br />(d) The owners shall obtain all necessary permits from <br />the County of San Mateo to permit the installation <br />of sewer facilities in Upland Road. <br />3. The property hereinabove referred to, commonly known <br />as 250 Upland Road, is more particularly described as follows: <br />All that real property situated in the County of San <br />Mateo, State of California, bounded and described as <br />follows: <br />BEGINNING at a point which is distant from the inter- <br />section of the southeasterly line of Whipple Road (now <br />Edgewood Road) with the northeasterly line of Lot 19, <br />as designated on the map hereinafter referred to, the <br />following courses along said southeasterly line of <br />Whipple Road South 42° 48' West 175.13 feet; THENCE, <br />leaving said Whipple Road across Lot 19, South 440 55' <br />East 352.66 feet to the center of a 50 foot private <br />road; THENCE, along the center of said private road <br />South 800 50' East 504.24 feet to the TRUE POINT OF <br />BEGINNING of the land herein described; THENCE, from <br />said true point of beginning along the center line of <br />said 50 foot private road South 72° 42' East 93.78 feet; <br />THENCE, leaving said private road South 170 18' West <br />250 feet; THENCE, North 720 42' West 76 feet; THENCE, <br />North 130 14' East 250.63 feet to the point of beginning, <br />being portions of Lots eighteen (18) and nineteen (19) <br />as shown on that certain map entitled "Map of Johnson <br />Subdivision," filed in the office of the County Recorder <br />of San Mateo County on October 4, 1909, in Book 7 of <br />Maps; at page Z._:�: -,,, <br />-2- <br />
