description, shall be constructed, moved, or placed upon said <br />premises without the written consent of the City Manager first <br />having been obtained as to location, type, or nature of structure, <br />subject to the following terms, covenants, and agreements, each <br />and all of which are also conditions of the permission granted <br />herein. <br />1. This permit shall be revocable at any time at the will <br />of the Council of the City of Redwood City. <br />2. This permit is subject to the conditions contained in <br />that certain deed from Leslie Salt Co. to the City of Redwood <br />City dated December 28, 1959, and recorded in Volume 3736 at <br />page 219 in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County, <br />California. <br />3. Permittee shall have the privilege at its sole expense <br />to construct, move, and/or locate upon said premises, improvements <br />in accordance with and subject to plans and specifications to be <br />filed with and approved, in writing, by the City Manager prior <br />to such construction, moving, and location upon said premises. <br />Permittee agrees to make no changes or alterations whatsoever <br />in the material, type, position or location of said improvements <br />without the written approval of the City Manager. <br />4. Permittee shall, on 30 days notice, remove all or part <br />of the improvements installed whenever requested to do so by <br />the City Manager for any reason whatsoever. <br />5. Permittee shall construct, use and maintain, any improve- <br />ments constructed or placed upon said premises pursuant to the <br />permission granted herein, in such manner that both said improve- <br />ments and facilities and adjacent wharves and waterways are safe <br />for general public purposes and in such manner that no dangerous or <br />defective condition will be created or permitted in said facilities. <br />-2- <br />
