Flooding <br />• Project site sits at very low elevation and well within <br />zone that may be tidally affected. <br />• Project also in area of high seismic exposure. <br />• No study of possible flooding due to tidal influences and <br />the coincidental timing of heavy rainfall with sea level <br />rise, very high tide levels, and storm surges. <br />• No study of possible tsunami impacts at the edge of the <br />bay and/or seiche conditions in the bay that could result <br />from a significant earthquake. <br />Constructability <br />Poor engineering performance of the soils with respect to foundation support <br />"It is our professional opinion that the onsite soils would not likely result In <br />densification as a result of the Drilled Displacement Piles method" <br />Cannot conclude whether DPP is appropriate without proper studies. <br />• The DPP method may intersect and incidentally interconnect multiple ground <br />water horizons that were previously isolated from one -another, which may also <br />incidentally interconnect surface derived water into the groundwater. <br />• "If not properly mitigated, these issues may result in significant environmental <br />impacts from the Project, and should be studied and analyzed" <br />10 <br />s/21/2018 <br />
