<br />CES:djm '-/16/90 (050/27) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the value of the property interest to be received <br />by the City pursuant to said exchange equals or exceeds the value <br />of the property interest to be vacated; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. This Council hereby finds that that <br />service easement described in Exhibit "B" hereof <br /> <br />certain public <br />(which Exhibit <br /> <br />is hereby incorporated herein by reference) has been superseded <br /> <br /> <br />by relocation, there are no other public facilities located <br /> <br /> <br />within said easement, and said easement is no longer required for <br />public purposes and, therefore, said easement shall be, and is <br />hereby ordered, vacated. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br /> <br />accept, on behalf of the City, a deed of easement conveying to <br /> <br /> <br />City equivalent easement rights to that easement ordered vacated <br /> <br /> <br />pursuant to paragraph 1 hereof, in and to all that certain real <br /> <br />property described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by <br /> <br /> <br />this reference incorporated herein, which easement is depicted on <br /> <br />page 3 of Exhibit "A". <br /> <br /> <br />3. City's City Manager is authorized and directed to enter <br /> <br />into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Easement Grant Deed and Quitclaim <br /> <br /> <br />Deed (Relocation of Existing Easement)", by and between the City <br /> <br /> <br />of Redwood City and Redwood Shores Properties, a California <br /> <br /> <br />general partnership, a copy of which is presently on file in the <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />11 ~tj 8 <br />
