A description of key task areas and services provided is provided below. <br />Estimates are based on time and materials only. <br /> <br />This public outreach/ awareness program is designed to support the education of <br />community members about the need for and the impacts of lagoon dredging. Data <br />Instincts (DI) will coordinate with the City's design and construction consultants and <br />provide necessary communications for background, education and construction related <br />noticing. This could include coordination of public workshops or neighborhood meetings <br />to educate the public and potentially affected property owners on construction means <br />and methods. <br /> <br />If some form of CEOA and/or NEPA review becomes necessary, 01 will provide required <br />noticing in coordination with City staff and EIR consultants, and reserves the right to <br />amend this scope of services agreement to meet specific requirements as needed. <br /> <br />Proposed Project Tasks <br /> <br />Task 1.0 Communications <br />Key objective is to provide awareness of the purpose and need for the project and <br />deliver timely communications to residents, emergency service providers and others <br />potentially affected by the lagoon repair project during implementation. 01 will assist in <br />developing and preparing communications materials in coordination with City staff and <br />project contractors. Collateral materials may include: fact sheets, project updates, <br />educational materials, newspaper display ads, traffic alert door hangers, post card <br />notice, letters, PowerPoint, and e-mail broadcasts*. 01 will assist with writing, editing, <br />layout and design. 01 will prepare and coordinate materials for City's printer and mail <br />house** and plan for distribution of outreach materials as needed. <br />
