As you are aware, the earlier
Amendment 2 included only permit support, revising the bid documents, and attending 2
meetings. It did not include any. construction support because it was difficult to identify a level
of effort with the multiple additive bid alternates. Since we realize this is a time-sensitive
project, we have continued to provide support to the City.

We are requesting a contract amendment to continue providing construction support through
the end of the project.

Scope of Work

We propose the following scope of work based on our discussions.

1. Meetinas and General Support

We understand that additional meetings will be needed to carry this complex project
through to completion. This will include meetings with City engineering staff during
construction, Max Keech and his contractors, and Kinnetic Laboratories to confirm
sampling/testing protocol. We will assist the City in reviewing the disposal site license and
operational protocol requested by Max Keech, attend 1 pre-construction meeting with
neighborhood residents, provide support to other consultants including Huffman Broadway
for alternate disposal locations, Lifescience! for the widgeon grass surveys, and Kinnetic
for the pre-dredge testing and reporting requirements.

We have budgeted a total of 50 hours for meetings (10# at 5 hrs/mtg) and up to 16 hours
of budget for general support to assist the City with complying with permit conditions,
answering questions posed by local residents, and preparing reports for agency review.

2. Construction Support

This task includes attending weekly site meetings with the Contractor and the City's
inspector, review of submittals, answering contractor RFls, reviewing interim surveys and
estimated quantities for progress payments, assisting the City's inspector with preparing
daily logs that would ultimately go to the agencies and Max Keech, and assisting Kinnetic
Laboratories with identifying appropriate test locations and frequency.
