Legislation (information only) - This sub - section involves possible discussion of <br />City Position on Proposed Legislation described in the League of California Cities <br />Priority Focus Bulletin No. 44 -2005. Council may direct staff to act on positions <br />taken by Council. (Copies of League of California Cities Priority Focus available in <br />City Clerk's Department.) <br />B. Mayor Pierce — announced that the Bay Area Central Valley High -speed <br />Rail Train EIR /EIS scoping meeting for the additional program is set to be held in <br />Modesto and Suisun City. The website contains information: <br />www.cahighspeedraii.ca.gov. The Metropolitan Transit Commission is conducting <br />a community workshop on December 8 at 6:00 p.m. in San Carlos for receiving <br />input on the regional rail plan. <br />8.
