Council Member Bain — requested a status update from either Buzz Fawcett or <br />the Council subcommittee on the progress of the contract. <br />D. Council Member Foust — applauded 18 Sequoia High students involved in a math <br />contest with a $5,000. prize being sponsored by a company in San Carlos. She <br />also stated her concern with a negative newspaper article regarding the new <br />Redwood Shores Library's need for funding. She stated that Redwood City has a <br />great library system and will add one more branch in Redwood Shores in the near <br />future. <br />E. Mayor Ira — stated that this was his last Council meeting as Mayor and invited the <br />community to join in on the re- organization ceremony on November 28. <br />9. ADJOURNMENT — 9:04 p.m. <br />M/S Hartnett/Pierce to adjourn until the next Regular City Council meeting of <br />November 28, 2005.
