2. Services. SUHSD shall provide the Services listed below ("the Services") in consideration for <br />receiving grant funding. <br />The SUHSD will employ the Director for the 2017-2018 school year. The Director shall carry out the <br />following responsibilities: <br />1) Provide leadership to STRC's operations. <br />2) Coordinate and integrate student support services with the school's academic and <br />extracurricular programs. <br />3) Expand collaborative partners and raise additional resources to support the ongoing success <br />of the Center. <br />4) Assist with the design and implementation of outcome evaluation efforts to track the impact of <br />STRC. <br />The Director shall also perform the following tasks: <br />• Provide leadership and oversee the operations of the STRC <br />• Coordinate and manage the development and implementation of community school-based <br />mental health, social and youth development services that enhance the health and safety of <br />children and families and improve educational outcomes of students <br />• Monitor the STRC budget and provide fiscal management <br />• Oversee, supervise, and manage staff, volunteers and intems <br />• Development and foster supportive governance structure that includes public and community- <br />based organizations, school staff, and youth. <br />• Manage program communications in response to changing needs <br />• Research and act on funding opportunities, including grant proposal writing, report writing, <br />and donor development <br />• Regularly report on status of implementation of STRC to Redwood City 2020 <br />• Lead and support outcome evaluation and reporting processes <br />• Ensure the successful implementation of strategic plans developed by STRC collaborating <br />partners <br />Redwood City 2020 will work closely with the Director to develop and sustain programs to support <br />students in reaching their academic and social -emotional potential; assist with resource development <br />and with design and implementation of and evaluation model to track the impact of STRC programs. <br />3. Funding. Redwood City 2020 will pay to SUHSD a total amount of Twenty Three Thousand <br />Dollars ($23,000) to partially fund the Directors services for the school year 2017-2018 at SUHSD. <br />No other compensation for the Services will be allowed, except for items covered by subsequent <br />amendments to this Agreement. <br />4. Status of Director.
