2. Services. SUHSD shall provide the Services listed below ("the Services") in consideration for receiving grant funding. The SUHSD will employ the Director for the 2017-2018 school year. The Director shall carry out the following responsibilities: 1) Provide leadership to STRC's operations. 2) Coordinate and integrate student support services with the school's academic and extracurricular programs. 3) Expand collaborative partners and raise additional resources to support the ongoing success of the Center. 4) Assist with the design and implementation of outcome evaluation efforts to track the impact of STRC. The Director shall also perform the following tasks: • Provide leadership and oversee the operations of the STRC • Coordinate and manage the development and implementation of community school-based mental health, social and youth development services that enhance the health and safety of children and families and improve educational outcomes of students • Monitor the STRC budget and provide fiscal management • Oversee, supervise, and manage staff, volunteers and intems • Development and foster supportive governance structure that includes public and community- based organizations, school staff, and youth. • Manage program communications in response to changing needs • Research and act on funding opportunities, including grant proposal writing, report writing, and donor development • Regularly report on status of implementation of STRC to Redwood City 2020 • Lead and support outcome evaluation and reporting processes • Ensure the successful implementation of strategic plans developed by STRC collaborating partners Redwood City 2020 will work closely with the Director to develop and sustain programs to support students in reaching their academic and social -emotional potential; assist with resource development and with design and implementation of and evaluation model to track the impact of STRC programs. 3. Funding. Redwood City 2020 will pay to SUHSD a total amount of Twenty Three Thousand Dollars ($23,000) to partially fund the Directors services for the school year 2017-2018 at SUHSD. No other compensation for the Services will be allowed, except for items covered by subsequent amendments to this Agreement. 4. Status of Director.
