6.1.1. - Page 2 <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1. Decline the contract extension and no longer provide crossing guard services. <br />2. Decline the contract extension and direct the Police Department to hire and maintain <br />a staff of part-time personnel to provide crossing guard services at a cost that would be <br />30% to 40% above the existing cost offered by All City Management Services. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The contract will compensate All City Management Services at a rate of $22.14 per hour <br />for each hour of crossing guard service. The total number of contracted hours for FY <br />2018-19 is 11,700 at a cost that shall not exceed $259,038.00.
