6.3.C. - Page 3 <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Based on expenditures for the 2017 celebration and the event plans for 2018, the total <br />projected cost to the City will be approximately $100,019. Total Police Department <br />overtime costs for traffic and crowd control is projected to be approximately $54,971. <br />Public Works Services Department costs for barricade rental and overtime are projected <br />at $27,192, and Fire Department overtime is projected at $12,356. Parks, Recreation <br />and Community Services Department staff, equipment and entertainment costs are <br />projected at $5,500. The FY 2018-19 Recommended Budget includes funding for this <br />event. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />The temporary action proposed in this report qualifies for the Class 4 Exemption under <br />the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Article 19, Section 15304 (minor <br />alterations to land) and Class 11 Exemption under Section 15311 (accessory structures.) <br />SEAN HART <br />LIEUTENANT <br />&.
