6.3.C. - Page 21 Citv Services Required Assist the PCA in the distribution of information to local residents and business operators about street closures related to the Parade. Request through the County OES the use of steel crowd control barricades for traffic control and spectator safety. Setup barricades on both sides of Broadway between Winslow and Arguello, on the north and east sides of the Broadway/Winslow intersection, and on the north and east sides of the Marshall/Main intersection. Provide a lighted highway sign on the south side of the Broadway/Winslow intersection to advise parade entries they are about to make a left turn onto a narrow street. Provide electrical connections at the Main Library on July 4t" from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm to support Parade announcers' station. Provide traffic cones and street barricades for Parade Route, Lineup area, and other traffic diversion requirements as determined by the Police Department. The PCA will work with the Police Department and Public Works to provide a list of times, locations, and quantity of barricades needed for the Parade and Lineup area. Provide two (2) temporary "No Left Turn" signs for use on Whipple Ave. Provide street sweeper to be available at approximately 10:00 AM to pick up horse droppings along the Parade Route and the designated horse lineup areas. For the safety of parade entries, remove the "pedestrian crossing" signs from the middle of the street on Main, Middlefield, and Winslow. Festival Area The Festival area will include the following streets Broadway from Winslow to Redwood Creek Crossing Hamilton from Middlefield Parking Lot to Marshall Middlefield from Broadway to Marshall Theatre Way from Middlefield to Broadway Jefferson from Marshall to the parking garage entrance at the Cinema Complex Arts & Craft vendor booths will be configured within a double row (back-to-back) on Jefferson. A children's entertainment area may be located on Broadway between Middlefield and Jefferson. Food Vendors will be located on Middlefield between Broadway and Marshall. Community Service or other non Arts and Craft booths may be configured on areas of Broadway within the Festival area between Winslow and Jefferson. No sale or distribution of any merchandise, food, beverages, or other items in the Festival Food Area will be conducted without prior written approval of the PCA.
