6.3.C. - Page 21 <br />Citv Services Required <br />Assist the PCA in the distribution of information to local residents and business <br />operators about street closures related to the Parade. <br />Request through the County OES the use of steel crowd control barricades for traffic <br />control and spectator safety. Setup barricades on both sides of Broadway between <br />Winslow and Arguello, on the north and east sides of the Broadway/Winslow <br />intersection, and on the north and east sides of the Marshall/Main intersection. <br />Provide a lighted highway sign on the south side of the Broadway/Winslow intersection <br />to advise parade entries they are about to make a left turn onto a narrow street. <br />Provide electrical connections at the Main Library on July 4t" from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm <br />to support Parade announcers' station. <br />Provide traffic cones and street barricades for Parade Route, Lineup area, and other <br />traffic diversion requirements as determined by the Police Department. The PCA will <br />work with the Police Department and Public Works to provide a list of times, locations, <br />and quantity of barricades needed for the Parade and Lineup area. <br />Provide two (2) temporary "No Left Turn" signs for use on Whipple Ave. <br />Provide street sweeper to be available at approximately 10:00 AM to pick up horse <br />droppings along the Parade Route and the designated horse lineup areas. <br />For the safety of parade entries, remove the "pedestrian crossing" signs from the <br />middle of the street on Main, Middlefield, and Winslow. <br />Festival Area <br />The Festival area will include the following streets <br />Broadway from Winslow to Redwood Creek Crossing <br />Hamilton from Middlefield Parking Lot to Marshall <br />Middlefield from Broadway to Marshall <br />Theatre Way from Middlefield to Broadway <br />Jefferson from Marshall to the parking garage entrance at the Cinema Complex <br />Arts & Craft vendor booths will be configured within a double row (back-to-back) on <br />Jefferson. A children's entertainment area may be located on Broadway between <br />Middlefield and Jefferson. Food Vendors will be located on Middlefield between Broadway <br />and Marshall. Community Service or other non Arts and Craft booths may be configured <br />on areas of Broadway within the Festival area between Winslow and Jefferson. <br />No sale or distribution of any merchandise, food, beverages, or other items in the <br />Festival Food Area will be conducted without prior written approval of the PCA. <br />All sales of food and beverages will subject permits issued by the County Health <br />Department and the Redwood City Fire Department (as applicable). <br />• Parkinq Restrictions <br />Page 5 of 10 <br />
