713 applicable for Collection of Targeted Recyclable Materials from Commercial <br />714 Premises. <br />715 E. Agency Facilities <br />716 1. General. Agency Facilities that subscribe to Solid Waste Collection service shall <br />717 be entitled to Collection of Targeted Recyclable Materials, and Contractor shall <br />718 provide the level of service required by Agency Facilities requesting Targeted <br />719 Recyclable Materials Collection services and shall not bill Agency for such <br />720 services. The level of service Contractor shall provide includes: Single -Stream <br />721 Targeted Recyclable Materials Collection or Source Separated Collection of <br />722 cardboard, mixed paper, food and recyclable beverage containers, or other <br />723 Targeted Recyclable Materials in a manner that best suits the needs of the <br />724 Agency Facility. <br />725 Contractor shall Collect Single -Steam Targeted Recyclable Materials or other <br />726 Source Separated Targeted Recyclable Materials Generated at Agency <br />727 Premises at least once per week or more frequently, up to seven (7) times per <br />728 week, as scheduled by the Agency provided that the Generator has Source <br />729 Separated the Targeted Recyclable Materials from Solid Waste and placed the <br />730 materials in the appropriate Contractor -provided Container. Contractor shall <br />731 Collect Targeted Recyclable Materials at the designated location agreed upon <br />732 by Contractor and Agency. <br />733 2. Service Methods. Contractor shall allow Agency Facilities to select a Collection <br />734 service method that best suits the needs of its Premises. Specifically, the <br />735 Contractor shall offer the following choices to Member Agency Facilities: <br />736 a. Cart service. Contractor shall allow Agency Facilities to use Carts for <br />737 Targeted Recyclable Materials Collection. Contractor shall provide each <br />738 Customer with a choice of one (1) or more Carts as specified in Attachment <br />739 D. <br />740 b. Bin service. Contractor shall allow Agency Facilities to use Bins for <br />741 Targeted Recyclable Materials Collection. Contractor shall provide each <br />742 Agency with a choice of one (1) or more Bins for each Agency Facility. <br />743 c. Centralized Cart or Bin service. Contractor shall allow Agency Facilities to <br />744 use Carts or Bins for Targeted Recyclable Materials Collection that are <br />745 shared by the Occupants of two (2) or more adjacent Agency Facilities. In <br />746 such case, Contractor shall provide one (1) or more Carts or Bins to such <br />747 Premises as requested by Agency. <br />748 d. Droo Boxes and Comoactors. Contractor shall allow Agency Facilities to <br />749 use Drop Boxes or Compactors for the Collection of Targeted Recyclable <br />750 Materials. Contractor shall allow Agency to purchase or lease Compactors <br />751 through an outside vendor. Regular maintenance of Compactors shall be <br />752 required by Agency (or outside vendor) as frequently as needed to keep the <br />753 Compactors in good working order and functioning at high compaction <br />754 levels. <br />755 3. Public Recvclinq Receptacles. Contractor shall Collect Recyclable Materials <br />756 from public Recycling receptacles located on streets and parking lots, and from <br />757 public Recycling receptacles in parks that are accessible for Curbside <br />REV: 03-16-18 MI <br />Page 20 of 126 <br />ATTY/AGR.2018.054/Recology of San Mateo <br />
