849 <br />shall continue to provide this service as long as requests are submitted to <br />850 <br />Contractor, at no additional cost to Customer(s) and shall not bill Agency for such <br />851 <br />services. The location for delivery of the Bin or Drop Box shall be agreed upon by <br />852 <br />the Owner or property manager, and Contractor shall remove the Bin or Drop Box, <br />853 <br />or Collect the trees loose, on the date requested by the Owner or property manager. <br />854 <br />If the use of a Bin or Drop Box is not feasible, Contractor shall Collect the <br />855 <br />uncontainerized Holiday Trees from one (1) or more designated consolidation <br />856 <br />locations (e.g., adjacent to a Solid Waste enclosure) at each Multi -Family <br />857 <br />Residential Complex as determined by the Owner or property manager. Contractor <br />858 <br />shall be required to Collect all trees or pieces of trees, which are eight feet (8') or <br />859 <br />less in length, void of tinsel, lights, ornaments, other decorations, and metal or <br />860 <br />plastic stands (although flocked trees are acceptable) and are placed in the Bin or <br />861 <br />Drop Box or at the agreed upon location. Contractor shall make accommodations <br />862 <br />and provide Collection service for Customers who are unable to cut trees into <br />863 <br />lengths of eight feet (8') or less at no additional cost to the Customer and shall not <br />864 <br />bill Agency for such services. <br />865 <br />Prior to December of each year, Contractor shall notify all Multi -Family Dwelling <br />866 <br />Customers of this program and explain the limitations to the program, the dates of <br />867 <br />service, and any materials preparation or participation requirements, including the <br />868 <br />option to order a Bin or Drop Box, or Collect the trees loose from designated <br />869 <br />Collection locations. To encourage participation in this program, Contractor shall <br />870 <br />not charge Customers an additional fee for this service. <br />871 5.05 RESIDENTIAL ON-CALL BULKY ITEM COLLECTION SERVICE <br />872 A. SFD General. Contractor shall provide two (2) separate On -Call Curbside Bulky <br />873 Item Collection Service events to each Single -Family Dwelling Residential Premise <br />874 annually upon Owner's or Occupant's request at no cost to the Customer. Customer <br />875 may request additional Bulky Item Collection service events; and, Contractor shall <br />876 bill for the additional service at Agency -approved Charges in Attachment Q. <br />877 Contractor shall schedule the On -Call Bulky Item Collection Service events on the <br />878 regularly scheduled Solid Waste Collection Day for Single -Family Dwellings, no <br />879 more than ten (10) Business Days after the Owner's or Occupant's request subject <br />880 to the conditions specified in Section 5.05.H. <br />881 B. MFD General. Contractor shall provide two (2) separate On -Call Curbside Bulky <br />882 Item Collection Service events to each Multi -Family Residential Complex annually <br />883 upon Owner's or property manager's request at no cost to the Owner or property <br />884 manager. Owner or property manager may request additional Bulky Item Collection <br />885 service events; and, Contractor shall bill for the additional service at Agency - <br />886 approved Charges specified in Attachment Q. Contractor shall schedule On -Call <br />887 Curbside Bulky Item Collection Service events no more than ten (10) Business <br />888 Days after the Multi -Family Residential Complex Owner's or property manager's <br />889 request subject to the conditions specified in Section 5.05.H.
