2478 J. Noise. All Collection operations shall be conducted as quietly as possible and shall <br />2479 conform to applicable federal, State, County, and Agency noise level regulations. <br />2480 Contractor shall promptly resolve any Complaints of noise to the satisfaction of the <br />2481 Agency. <br />2482 K. Route Books and Route Maps. For each Collection route, Contractor shall <br />2483 maintain a route book and route map that documents each Customer on the route, <br />2484 their service address, service level, and the order in which Customers shall be <br />2485 serviced (e.g., the order in which routes shall be driven). Contractor shall distribute <br />2486 new route books and route maps to its Collection vehicle drivers as frequently as <br />2487 necessary; and each driver shall note differences in the service levels shown in the <br />2488 route book, adding and subtracting Customers and service levels, as necessary. <br />2489 Route supervisors shall periodically check the routes to ensure that drivers are <br />2490 providing service in accordance with their route books. Contractor shall provide <br />2491 Agency with route books and maps including assessor parcel data when available <br />2492 within ten (10) Business Days of request. <br />2493 L. Change in Collection Schedule. Contractor shall notify Agency a minimum of <br />2494 sixty (60) Business Days prior to a change in the Residential Collection schedule or <br />2495 two (2) weeks for minor adjustments (defined as less than the average size of a <br />2496 single route per the Collection service metrics delineated in the prior years <br />2497 Compensation Application), and shall request approval of Contractor's notice to <br />2498 Residential Customers thirty (30) Business Days prior to a change in Service Day, <br />2499 unless this requirement is waived in writing by Agency. Contractor shall notify <br />2500 Owners and Occupants of Residential Premises not later than ten (10) Business <br />2501 Days prior to any change in Residential Collection operations which results in a <br />2502 change in the day on which Solid Waste, Targeted Recyclable Materials, and <br />2503 Organic Materials Collection occurs. Contractor shall not permit any Customer to <br />2504 go more than five (5) Business Days without service in connection with a Collection <br />2505 schedule change. <br />2506 8.03 UNLOADING MATERIALS AT THE DESIGNATED TRANSFER AND PROCESSING <br />2507 FACILITY <br />2508 Contractor shall be required to unload at the Designated Transfer and Processing <br />2509 Facility all materials from its Collection vehicles by its own personnel. Contractor shall be <br />2510 required to ensure that unloaded materials are properly placed in the designated areas <br />2511 and containers as directed by Operator and SBWMA. For example, Contractor shall be <br />2512 required to deposit at the Designated Transfer and Processing Facility Batteries and Cell <br />2513 Phones, Used Motor Oil, and Used Motor Oil Filters in the containers provided by <br />2514 Operator and designated for storage of these materials. Contractor shall cooperate with <br />2515 Operator to ensure its Collection vehicles unload Solid Waste, Targeted Recyclable <br />2516 Materials, Organic Materials, and other materials (e.g., Batteries, Cell Phones, Used <br />2517 Motor Oil, and Used Motor Oil Filters) Collected by Contractor in the locations <br />2518 designated by Operator and SBWMA. <br />2519 8.04 VEHICLES <br />2520 A. General. Contractor shall provide a fleet of Collection vehicles sufficient in number <br />2521 and capacity to efficiently perform the work required by the Agreement in strict <br />2522 accordance with its terms.
