2705 2. Color. The colors of the Containers provided to Single -Family, Multi -Family, <br />2706 Commercial, and Agency Facility Customers are specified in Attachment D. <br />2707 3. Loading. Minimum allowable loading requirements for the Bin and Drop Box <br />2708 contents shall be approved by the Agency prior to purchase based on the <br />2709 minimum manufacturer's load limits, as specified in Attachment D. <br />2710 <br />C. Container Labeling. Contractor shall label each Container with white, hot -stamped <br />2711 <br />lettering, and in -mold or heavy duty vinyl adhesive labels with graphics, illustrations, <br />2712 <br />or artwork that clearly conveys the type of materials (e.g., Solid Waste, Recyclable <br />2713 <br />Materials, cardboard, mixed paper, Organic Materials, wood waste, metal, etc.) to <br />2714 <br />be placed in the Container for Collection. The labeling shall be positioned on each <br />2715 <br />Container so it is visible to the Customer and Collection vehicle drivers on the front <br />2716 <br />side, and top. The labeling shall be durable and weather resistant to outdoor <br />2717 <br />conditions and have a minimum ten (10) year lifetime. <br />2718 <br />All Containers shall prominently display information and graphics agreed upon by <br />2719 <br />Agency, SBWMA, and Contractor pursuant to Article 7. <br />2720 <br />Final Container labeling layout, graphics, and text shall be approved by the Agency <br />2721 <br />and SBWMA prior to distribution to Customers. <br />2722 <br />D. Cleaning and Painting. Contractor shall be responsible for steam cleaning and <br />2723 <br />repainting all Containers, except Carts, to present an aesthetically pleasing clean <br />2724 <br />appearance and to ensure this equipment is safely maintained and operationally <br />2725 <br />sound. Contractor shall repaint all used Containers on an as needed basis. Upon <br />2726 <br />Customer's request, Contractor shall steam clean all Solid Waste and Recyclable <br />2727 <br />Materials Containers (or exchange existing Containers with clean Containers) twice <br />2728 <br />annually, except Carts provided to Residential Premises, which Contractor is not <br />2729 <br />obligated to clean or exchange. Contractor shall clean all Organic Materials <br />2730 <br />Containers (or exchange existing Containers with clean Containers) quarterly, <br />2731 <br />except Carts provided to Residential Premises, which Contractor is not obligated to <br />2732 <br />clean or exchange. Contractor shall offer additional cleaning (or clean Container <br />2733 <br />exchange) to Customers requesting such service and Contractor shall bill <br />2734 <br />Customers for such cleaning (or Container exchange) at Agency -approved Charges <br />2735 <br />specified in Attachment Q. <br />2736 <br />Contractor shall be responsible for cleaning Containers at no additional charge to <br />2737 <br />Customer to ensure that nuisance or public health concerns associated with vectors <br />2738 <br />are addressed within two (2) Business Days after receipt of notification of said <br />2739 <br />condition. <br />2740 <br />If any Container is impacted by graffiti, Contractor shall remedy the situation within <br />2741 <br />forty-eight (48) hours of being notified. <br />2742 <br />E. Repair and Replacement. Contractor shall repair or replace all Containers <br />2743 <br />damaged by Collection operations (e.g., vehicle apparatus interface) or otherwise <br />2744 <br />inoperable (e.g., due to regular wear and tear) within three (3) Business Days of <br />2745 <br />being notified by Customer or observing the damaged Container.
