3017 Contractor's general manager shall respond to the Operator's email <br />3018 correspondence within twenty-four (24) hours. <br />3019 B. Coordination of Hours. Contractor shall plan its Collection routes to be <br />3020 compatible with the Designated Transfer and Processing Facility receiving hours, <br />3021 which shall be, at a minimum, Monday through Friday from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. <br />3022 and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Contractor shall deliver <br />3023 Collected materials to the Designated Transfer and Processing Facility during the <br />3024 receiving hours of the Designated Transfer and Processing Facility. <br />3025 C. Compliance with Facility Rules. Contractor shall cooperate with Operator and <br />3026 comply with Operator's requirements Including: (i) how and where to unload <br />3027 Collection vehicles; (ii) respecting operations and construction of new facilities; and, <br />3028 (iii) the Operator's Hazardous Waste exclusion program. Contractor shall also <br />3029 cooperate with the Contamination assessment procedures specified in Attachment <br />3030 E-1. All costs charged by the SBWMA for acceptance of Contractor's materials <br />3031 shall be paid by Contractor. Contractor shall receive compensation for transfer and <br />3032 processing costs in accordance with Article 11. <br />3033 8.10 BUY -RECYCLED POLICY <br />3034 The Contractor shall comply with the purchasing requirements described in this Section, <br />3035 and shall document its on-going compliance with these requirements upon Agency <br />3036 request. <br />3037 A. Recycled Paper. The Contractor shall use recycled paper for invoices, Bills, <br />3038 reports, and public education materials. The recycled paper shall have at least <br />3039 thirty percent (30%) post -consumer recycled content for uncoated paper and ten <br />3040 percent (10%) post -consumer recycled content for coated paper based on federal <br />3041 standards. Contractor shall state on all materials prepared with post -consumer <br />3042 recycled content the following: °Printed on Recycled Paper." <br />3043 B. Re -Refined Motor Oil. Contractor shall be encouraged but not required to use re - <br />3044 refined motor oil for its Collection vehicles. <br />3045 C. Recycled Plastic. Contractor shall purchase Carts and Kitchen Pails that contain <br />3046 the minimum post -consumer content as specified in Attachment D. All Carts and <br />3047 Kitchen Pails shall be one hundred percent (100°/x) recyclable. <br />3048 8.11 ANNUAL PERFORMANCE HEARING <br />3049 A. Objectives. Agency or SBWMA may hold a public performance hearing in April or <br />3050 May of each Rate Year, at which time Contractor shall be present and shall <br />3051 participate by making a presentation and responding to questions. Agency or <br />3052 SBWMA shall convene the hearing to address the positive and negative aspects of <br />3053 Contractor's overall performance. The purpose of the hearing may also involve <br />3054 discussion and review of technological, economic, and regulatory changes in <br />3055 Collection, waste reduction, Recycling, processing, and Disposal practices that can <br />3056 improve quality of service; increase waste reduction and diversion; and ensure <br />3057 services are being provided effectively and economically. Topics for discussion and <br />3058 review at the performance hearing shall include, but not be limited to: Contractor's <br />3059 accomplishments and compliance with various provisions of the Agreement, <br />REV: 03.16-18 MI <br />Page 73 of 126 <br />ATTY/AGR.2018.054/Recology of San Mateo <br />
