GID 1-64 Development Agreement Extension: <br /> <br /> Senior Civil Engineer Chang stated that this agreement extension is the same <br /> concept as the 60 day extension approve~ .;~pproximately two months ago. He <br /> further stated that due to the complexity of aifi~rent parties involved and difficulties <br /> involved in the 3-year extension, the 60 day extension is required in order to keep <br /> the agreement in place. <br /> <br /> Mayor Claire opened the public hearing. <br /> <br /> M/S Ruskin /Howard to close the public hearing. A Public Hearing on the propoSed 2002~2004 Budget; <br /> <br /> Financial Services Director/Assistant City Manager Ponty stated that the budget <br /> has only one change from the recommended budget, which is the addition of <br /> $24,000.00 to the Human Services Financial Assistance (HFSA) program directed <br /> by Council at the July 22, 2002 study session. <br /> <br /> Council Member Jordan asked about the alternatives regarding the Civic Cultural <br /> Commission request Of an additional $30,000.00. <br /> <br /> Council Member Pierce stated that due to time constraints involved in gathering <br /> information as to where the funds will come from, information on the specific areas <br /> targeted for the allocation has not yet been obtained. Council Member Pierce <br /> requested postponement on discussion of this topic at this time. <br /> <br /> After Council discussion, consensus was to postpone consideration on the options <br /> and alternatives to-fund a one-time additional $30,000.00 to the.
