ATTY/RESO.0057/CC RESO AMENDING CITY’S CLASSIFICATION SALARY PLAN <br />REV: 06-13-18 MI <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AMENDING THE CITY’S CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY PLAN <br />TO ESTABLISH THE CLASSIFICATIONS OF FACILITIES <br />MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR, REVENUE SERVICES MANAGER, <br />SENIOR TRANSPORTATION PLANNER, PRINCIPAL ANALYST- <br />FINANCE, AND GRAPHIC DESIGN SPECIALIST, AND TO MODIFY THE <br />EXISTING CLASSIFICATIONS OF JUVENILE SPECIALIST AND <br />POLICE EVIDENCE AND PROPERTY ROOM COORDINATOR <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested that new classifications be <br />established and existing classifications be modified to meet the current and future <br />operational needs for the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the classification specifications as described in Exhibit “A” were <br />prepared by Human Resources staff in consultation with department management, to <br />ensure the foreseeable needs of the organization were met; and <br /> WHEREAS, Human Resources staff conducted salary studies and met and <br />conferred with Redwood City Management Employees Association (RCMEA) and <br />Service Employees International Union Local 521 (SEIU), and reached agreement on the <br />recommended salary ranges as listed in Exhibit “A.” <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br />incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />2. The City’s Classification and Salary Plan is hereby amended to establish <br />the classifications of Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, Revenue Services Manager, <br />Senior Transportation Planner, Principal Analyst-Finance, and Graphic Design Specialist, <br />6.3.D. - Page 5
