There has been a long-standing commitment to <br />investing local funds to address this problem, as reflected in the development of the HOPE Plan in 2006 <br />and investment in strategies such as the Homeless Outreach Teams, motel voucher program, new <br />permanent supportive housing units, and many other initiatives.
