4. That the San Mateo County Elections Department is authorized to canvass the <br />returns of the General Municipal Election. The election shall be held in all respects as if <br />there were only one election, and only one form of ballot shall be used. <br />5. That the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors is requested to issue <br />instructions to the County Elections Official to take any and all steps necessary for the <br />holding of the consolidated election. <br />6. That the City of Redwood City recognizes that additional costs will be incurred by <br />the County of San Mateo by reason of this consolidation and agrees to reimburse the <br />County of San Mateo for any costs. <br />7. That the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City is hereby directed to file a <br />certified copy of this Resolution with the Board of Supervisors and the county election <br />department of the County of San Mateo. <br />8. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution <br />and enter it into the book of original Resolutions. <br />9. That the City Clerk is authorized to execute that certain Agreement entitled <br />"Service Agreement for the Provision of Election Services between the City of Redwood <br />City and the San Mateo County Chief Elections Officer & Assessor — County Clerk — <br />Recorder" for the performance by the County Clerk of the County of San Mateo of <br />certain services pertaining to the Municipal, School and Special District Election to be <br />held on November 6, 2018." <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />ATTY/RESO.0067/CC RESO CONSOLIDATE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION RESO.
