Section 5. The City Council of the City of Redwood City adopts the <br />Municipal Code amendment repealing Article XVII of Chapter 18 of the Municipal <br />Code as shown in Exhibit B, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br />The requirement for an affordable impact fee is now incorporated into the new <br />Article 29 of the Zoning Ordinance. Wording in brackets ([example]) is informational <br />only and is not to be included in the published ordinance. <br />Section 6. If any section, subsection, clause or phrase of this Ordinance <br />is for any reason held to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the <br />remaining portion or sections of the Ordinance. The City Council of the City of <br />Redwood City hereby declares that it would have adopted the Ordinance and each <br />section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase thereof irrespective of the fact that <br />any one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses or phrases be declared <br />unconstitutional. <br />Section 7. This Ordinance shall go into effect thirty (30) days after the <br />date of adoption. <br />Section 8.
