P&R-Tom Passanisi

F~'(~m: George Vorpahl [georgevorpahl@attbi.com]
Sent: Friday, August 16, 2002 6:35 PM
To: tpassanisi@redwoodcity.org

Subject: SBSA Buffer Parcel

I live in the community near the SBSA plant and I am concerned with the proposed expansion in the surrounding buffer
zone . I oppose the expansion of the SBSA plant near our residential communities. Why has Redwood City Planning not
considered moving this waste txeatmentplant to a non residential area? For example, Seaport Blvd has
mostly commercial building and few if any neighborhoods to impact. I believe tlfis would be an excellent location for the
SBSA plants to expand. Again, I oppose expanding the SBSA plant and propose the Planning & Redevelopment consider
moving this facility to minimize the impact on the citizens of Redwood City.

8/20/2002
