AMENDMENT NO. 1 <br /> TO AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> [CAMP DRESSER & McKEE] <br /> <br /> This Amendment No. 1, is entered into and effective as of the __ day of <br /> <br /> , 2002, amending the Agreement for Professional Services by and <br /> between the City Of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State <br /> of California ("City"), and Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc. (CDM) ("Consultant") <br /> (collectively the "Parties") for professional engineering services. <br /> <br /> RECITALS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City approved the Agreement for Professional Services on July 15, <br /> 2002 (the "Agreement"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after approval of the Agreement, Consultant requested changes to <br /> the insurance requirements and additional language related to the use of documents; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed and considered the requested changes and <br />have determined that said changes are reasonable and do not fundamentally change <br />the original Agreement. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties agree to amend the Agreement as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 7 is amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br /> <br /> 7. DOCUMENTS. All documents, plans, drawings, renderings, and other <br /> <br />papers, or copies thereof~ as finally rendered, prepared by Consultant pursuant to the <br />terms of this Agreement, shall, upon preparation and delivery to City, become the <br />property of City. <br /> <br /> Notwithstandinq any provision to the contrary contained in this A.qreement, <br />Consultant shall retain sole ownership to its preexistinq information includin.q, but not <br /> <br />F:Atty/Agr/Amend 1 .CDM 1 <br />082202 <br /> <br /> <br />
