At its Board Meeting last night, the Board of Directors of
RSOA approved a motion to support the appeal already filed by Ms. Gall Stebbins,
a resident in the Redwood Shores neighborhood. Additionally, the motion
included the filing of an appeal by RSOA on behalf of the membership of RSOA.

The reasons for the appeal are as follows:

1. For each of the specific reasons stated in the appeal by Ms. Gall Stebbins
(copy enclosed).
2. Revocation of the Use Permit of FACC for loss of adequate parking, the only
alternative proposed, is not viable.
3. Each of the four Modifications to the Draft Specific Plan, as proposed in the
Memo dated 5/16/02 from Tom Passanissi (copy enclosed) and approved
by the Planning Commission, is unreasonable.

Enclosed is a check from RSOA in the amount of $100.00.

Sincerely,
REDWOOD SHORES OWNERS ASSOCIATION

Clay Lewis \ .
President, Board of Directors

Enclosures
Cc: Planning Commission
RSOA Board of Directors
