Also <br /> press releases were provided to the <br /> Redwood Shores Shoreline and Pilot. <br /> <br />APPLICATION REQUEST: 1) Construct a maximum 16,000 sq. ft. worship center <br />with parking and landscape improvements (Fully Alive Community Church property); <br />2) Construct a one story, 2,000 sq. ft. facility for academic wetland research, up to <br />three 100-ft. diameter tanks for storage of recycled water, including installation of <br />tree screens, landscaping, a service read, and other improvements (SBSA <br />Property); and 3) Retain existing antennas and existing ancillary enclosures on a <br />current radio station site (Susquehanna Radio Corporation Property). <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: 1) Certify the Environmental Impact Report; 2) Recommend <br />approval of the Specific Plan to the City Council; <br /> <br />GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATION AND CONFORMANCE: The Redwood City <br />General Plan designates the Susquehanna and Fully Alive Community Church site <br />as "Open Space" and the SBSA parcel as "Urban Reserve". The Susquehanna site <br />conforms to the General Plan, while the proposed uses for the Church and SBSA <br />property do not. Therefore an amendment to the General Plan will have to occur at <br />a future date. <br /> <br /> <br />
