2006 Council Priorities Workshop

* More advertising in Spanish

* I would likè to see a little more interactive discussions to test/see what people actually know about their
community
* Sending out a package information by mail, email etc..prior to the meeting

* Do it again
* Possibly more discussion time

* Arbitrary seating as many tables were made up of "friends"

4. Here's how I rate the logistical aspects of this community workshop session:
Length: Too short 2 Just right 23 Too long 1
Location: Excellent 15 Good 8 Fair
Handouts: Too many Just right 17 Too few 6

Poor

3

5. What was missing from this community workshop session?

* More residents present
* Translation - Spanish speaker

* Opportunity to form follow-up groups to explore what can be done realistically to solve specific areas of concern

* Perhaps we could have looked at more specifics once the general areas were identified in order to give the Council
better direction - maybe this happens later anyways

* No City Council member - some should attend not just the Mayor

* I would like to see this type of session but conduct it with participants from the same demographic (i.e. a session
for people 15-20, 20-30, 30-40, 40-50) this should give the Council more insight into trends and desires of its various
demographics community

6. My overall rating of the process of this community workshop session is:

S:\Community Meetings\Community Workshop on City Council Priorities\Council Priorities Workshop January 19 - Evaluations

1
1

1
1

1
1

5
3

2
1

1

1

-c
Q)
CC
CD
3 I\)
I\)
