MINUTE ORDER 02-205 <br /> <br /> iii) Consider Rescheduling Council meeting of August 12 to August 19. <br /> <br /> Mayor Claire stated that he would be unavailable for the August 12 meeting and <br /> polled Council to decide whether the second Council meeting in August should be <br /> held on August 12 or 19. Consensus was to poll the absent Council Members and <br /> hold the meeting on August 12 if he is the only one scheduled to be absent. <br /> <br /> iv) Council Member Jordan referred to correspondence received from a resident <br /> on Harbor Court relative to recycled water. The letters reference damaging <br /> effects from recycled water use on landscaping and plant life. The resident <br /> submitted a report to the City and has circulated a petition in her neighborhood <br /> that found more than half of the neighborhood opposes the use of recycled <br /> water. Council Member Jordan requested that the report be shared with all <br /> Council Members and seek specialists on the topic to participate in the <br /> discussion. <br /> <br /> Consensus by Council was to discuss and consider scheduling a public <br /> meeting at a Redwood Shores site on this subject. <br /> <br />'I3.CLOSED SESSION - No action to report. <br /> <br />14.ADJOURNMENT - 9:07 p.m. <br /> <br /> M/S Hartnett/Jordan to adjourn to the regular meeting of July 22, 2002 in honor of City <br /> Manager Ed Everett's father who passed away on July 14. Mr. Permin Everett was <br /> born on August 1, 1914, had a bright and full life, and leaves sons Ed and Richard. He <br /> was in public service with the California State Personnel Board and retired as a State <br /> training officer. The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote by those present.
