Public Works Services Director Ingram responded that the annual bid for street light signal parts and materials purchase is simply the amount necessary for annual maintenance. The traffic signal loop service bid is utilized because the City crews do not have the equipment and technical expertise to repair traffic loops, which are embedded in the asphalt and trigger traffic signals to operate. 7, CONSENT CALENDAR Items on the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion and one vote.
