The integrated PARC system shall be able to manage and control all the above parking user groups <br />and also be able to send information to authorized City department staff. The system shall have <br />capability to expand use to additional lots or garages. <br />C. PARCS Equipment hardware and software features: <br />1. One (1) pay station capable of accepting cash and credit card payment shall be provided in <br />the Marshall Garage. <br />2. One (1) pay station capable of credit card only payment shall be provided in the Marshall <br />Garage. <br />3. Two (2) pay stations capable of accepting cash and credit card payment shall be provided <br />in the Jefferson/Century Garage. <br />4. Three (3) pay stations capable of credit card only payment shall be provided in the <br />Jefferson/Century Garage. <br />5. Two (2) entry stations per garage with proximity card readers. <br />6. Two (2) exit pay credit card stations per garage. <br />7. l=our (4) parking gates per garage. <br />8. One (1) Cashier station in the Jefferson/Century Garage office. To be used as backup pay <br />location as needed. This station will not be in regular operation. <br />9. Central Management System — Web -based access to a real-time central management <br />system. <br />D. Parking Payment System hardware and software features: <br />1. Pay -on -foot pay stations shall be installed on the ground floor of the Marshall Garage and <br />on both floors of the Jefferson/Century Garage <br />2. Central Management System —web -based access to real-time central management system <br />3. PARCS shall provide the following features: <br />a. The pay stations shall be powered with a battery backup. Battery life shall be <br />guaranteed for a minimum of 3 years from manufacturer. <br />b. Pay stations shall be constructed of high grade stainless steel or equivalent <br />composite material capable of withstanding weather and temperature extremes in <br />Redwood City, California. <br />c. Pay stations shall have a lockable cash vault that is located in a separate locked <br />compartment and vault. <br />d. Pay stations shall be networked and communicate in real time with the on-line <br />CMS. <br />e. Pay stations shall accept coins in the following denominations: One -dollar coin, <br />Quarters, Dimes and Nickels. The pay stations shall have ability to filter all coins <br />and only allow official US currency. <br />f. The pay station shall accept major credit cards and debit cards containing the Visa <br />or MasterCard logos. <br />g. The pay station shall accept payment, issue a receipt, and upon request - make this <br />information available to multiple City departments that require this information. <br />1.4 SYSTEM DESIGN <br />A. Design Requirements: <br />1. PARC system and related subsystems shall meet or exceed minimum quantity, quality and <br />performance requirements as described herein. <br />2.
